We have been busy!

So I took the kids to the New Orleans Zoo by myself.. are you shocked? LOL! We had a blast!

Then my Mom got the kids a trampoline for Christmas.. we just got around to putting it up for them to play on! Well... sean put the trampoline up and the kids played in the box it came from! LOL! Lastly.. we took a break to enjoy an ice cream from the ice cream man!

Easter 09!

We had a really good Easter! The kids and Sean woke up Easter morning to these lovely Easter Baskets and Gift! That Easter Bunny is really nice! ;)

Then it was time to hunt for the eggs the Easter Bunny left!


The Easter Bunny was so nice he left $ in the eggs! Nana came over and made a deal.. she would buy the kids eggs for $5.. well Brooklyn was fine with it she handed over all her eggs and money. Skyler not so much..Esp. when she figured out that they had $30 in those eggs! But Nana finally gave up after Skyler said "I said you could have the eggs.. not what was in them!"

And Pardon Brooklyns eye she woke up with it swollen from a bug bite on it!

Then it was time to head to Mrs.Cathy (MIL's) house for a crawfish boil!

Speed had to fuss at the crawfish.. then get down on its level for a talking to! LOL!

Everyone enjoying crawfish! I am allergic so I cooked me and my Dad a steak!

My nephew Hayden LOVES ice! If he can find an ice chest to play in.. he is all over it! Well he had his hands in a little too long! And was not happy about having frozen hands! And then Hayden and Nana on skylers dirt bike!

Brooklyns Easter party at school was this week! It was really cute! They sang songs and played games! She had a blast.. so did Speed!

Easter Egg Hunt

So we went to 2 Easter Egg Hunts Yesterday...1 at Bass Pro and 1 at our church! The kids had fun! Speed did not quite understand it.. he just wanted to chew on the eggs! It was cute though! At the Church hunt Brooklyn and Hayden found the "golden eggs"! Brooklyn just had to rub it in her brother and cousins face! LOL! She is such a diva! MIL has the pics from the Bass Pro one so I will have to get those from her to upload! But for now enjoy these!

Its My Birthday!

Yay Me! Said in my best "London Tipton" voice! Yes I watch way too much Disney Channel with my kids! LOL! So with that said..... All I want for my birthday is a day without throwing up and well I could think of a few other things! LOL!

But for today my thought turns to this....

My husband wants this....

We need this....

All the while he feels bad today and is whining! Oh the joys! He feels as if I dont love him! Pity Party Much????

Pig Pen!

We might as well live like pigs with the mess that my house is in right now! I swear between the morning sickness and complete exhaustion.. not to mention the 0 help I recieve from my husband or kids... my house looks like little pigs live here! I am to the point where I personally want to move out because of the mess! UGH! Just needed to vent! Now off to clean up after Daddy Pig and his Piglets!

Miracle Drug??????

So Skyler has been diagnosed with ADHD, anxiety, OCD, and impulse issues. We saw the pshychiatrist on Wednesday.. she was very nice and helpful! She prescribed him Focalin XR at 5 mg for the first 7 days then 10 mg after that! She is worried about him losing weight on it though because it can cause kids not to eat and Skyler is so thin to begin with... so we are drinking Ensure drinks 2xs a day and he is getting snacks at school! Well he did not eat lunch and normally he would have had numerous snacks this afternoon and he has not eaten anything! So we are def. going to stick to the Ensure and I am going to try to push a snack in the afternoon and try to cook things that I know he likes for dinner! But overall I think he has had a good day! He has been really chilled out this afternoon.. No crazy yelling or acting like a wild monkey! So that is a plus! His teacher said he had a good day at school and he said he felt like he could concentrate more! Ofcourse this is only Day 1.. I am hoping that these things stay and improve!

Onto the story of the morning.. My child has NEVER had to swallow a pill let alone a capsule.. so

this morning was interesting.. but after about 5 tries with the same pill.. blech.. he got it down! WTG Skyler! Here is to hoping that it gets better each day!
