Stress Stress Stress

That is the theme for our lives right now! Crazy stuff going on at Seans work has him stressed beyond belief! I am fighting a sinus infection from hell.. it will not go away! Then the kiddos.. Speed is finishing cutting his 2 top teeth! So my oh so happy baby has his mood swings! Then Brooklyn well she is Brooklyn and is keeping on my toes! Onto Skyler.. his social calendar is so busy! I swear he has a busier social calendar then me or his father ever have had! Tomorrow he has a Den meeting for Boy Scouts and I have a fair comittee meeting.. Which I am so excited for! Me and my mom run the "Country Store" at our church fair. It gives me something to do and a way to contribute. I love it! I am really looking forward to this year! Oh and if you can make crafty things or know someone that is..... hit me up.. we need some cute crafty stuff donated to sell! Then poor Remi.. (The Dog) her world sucks.. she is stuck in the house because we have no fence thanks to Gustav and Ike. She is beyond misserable.. she just whines to go outside! But besides that not much going on!

So I just got a phone call telling me that they are letting school out early for Ike.. Ughhhh... as soon as we get back to normal.. BAM.. something else! Grrrrrr......

Saying a big prayer for all the people in Texas... This storm looks so scary!

WE HAVE POWER!

I am sitting in my house typing this! FINALLY! After 9 Loooonnnnggg days... we got power last night! We were going out to dinner and had to drive past our street.. and I looked down and saw a light on down the street... I told Sean to turn around.. he thought it was just a generator causing the light to be on.. but Nope.. got home and we had power! I have never been more happy! We all slept like rocks in our own beds!

Now onto the bad news.. my dryer will not work.. I dunno wth the deal is with it! I dunno if something happened when Sean tried to hook the generator up or what?? So all the laundry I have been dying to do.. isnt getting done! Sean "looked" at it.. but does not have a clue.. I got mad at him and told him I was going tomorrow and buy a brand new set.. this set to be exact..

Then I got the "look"! LOL! So I guess he did not like that very much! LOL!

Besides that not much going on! Just Busy Busy Busy! Skyler goes back to school tomorrow.. and Brooklyn Friday Thank God! I thought I was going to have to beat them both today at wal-mart.. note to self.. "Do not take your kids on a restock the fridge/freezer shopping trip.. for your own sanity!" After that I was more ready than ever for them to go back!

Okay off to bed in my cold house with my warm bed! Ahhhhh Home!

Surviving Gustav!

We are still without power! No fun at all! We are staying with my sister! She has power and internet! Thank God! We have all had a virus.. congestion coughing fever etc. Speed and Brooklyn had the throwing up! Blech Blech Blech! Skyler Sean and I have mainly just had the congestion/coughing/fever combo! Now Kristie is getting it!

They are saying we "might" have power by Tuesday! I need power.. my house smells.. walked in yesterday and had red ants all over my counter! My house wiring is retarded so a generator will not work with it.. so that makes me even more mad!

And with all that.. It looks like IKE may come to visit us! Oh dear GOD please dont let it! If it does.. I am considering moving to another country!

So that is our Update on the Gustav situation!

On the upside..Sean goes back to work Monday! Skyler goes back to school Wednesday probably! And Speed got a new tooth! One on the top! So now we have 3 teeth total!

That is it for now till I can get pics up of all the lovely distruction that Gustav did to our yard and roof and fence and dog cage and trees.. you get the point! LOL!
